Martha Kezemidis

Martha is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP), Board Certified Hypnotherapist (CH), and Director of KAP Curriculum and Training at Field Trip Health. She works with people from different backgrounds and in different stages of life.  Her purpose is to help guide people who are feeling lost, stuck and facing difficulties, to a place of greater well-being. Martha’s journey started when she travelled to India to become a Certified Yoga Teacher.  By studying the ancient system of Hatha Yoga, she began to learn how looking within ourselves can help us to live more harmoniously with the outside world.  Martha wanted to use this wisdom to help others, which led her to complete a Diploma in Spiritual Psychotherapy in Toronto.  She has continued to pursue further education in Humanistic Psychotherapy and Clinical Hypnosis.   Today, Martha incorporate these approaches in her focus to help people heal and grow. She valuse the diversity and uniqueness of each individual she works with. She prioritizes creating a safe and nurturing environment for you to work on understanding yourself better.

Sinking Into Safety

Life in our modern world consists of many chronic and acute stressful experiences, often resulting in an over-activation of our sympathetic nervous system. In this meditation, we will take intentional time to connect the mind with the body’s natural ability to receive safety, allowing the parasympathetic nervous system to regulate these cycles of activation. Adopting a practice where we can allow ourselves to move into a restorative state can bring greater resiliency and balance to our lives.
