East Forest

East Forest is an international leader in underground sound meditation, utilizing his skilled instrumental repertoire to create space for people to find themselves and transcend nature, technology, music, and the human experience. Possible is the latest chapter in his ever-evolving career, which includes over 25 albums, including 2019’s album length collaboration with spiritual pioneer Ram Dass, the five-hour long psilocybin soundtrack Music For Mushrooms: A Soundtrack For the Psychedelic Practitioner, and collaborations with artists Jon Hopkins, Typhoon, Laraaji, Dead Prez, Trevor Hall, and more. As a trailblazer in the international wellness movement, he’s guided students through a brain-body approach aimed towards non-religious spirituality and conducted retreats at the Esalen Institute, Google and Johns Hopkins neuroaesthetics project, Wavepaths, Consciousness Hacking, TED, and more.

2-hour immersive guidance for exploring your inner space. East Forest never thought he would livestream a ceremony. Yet due to the pandemic's restrictions on gatherings, and to offer support to the frontline healthcare workers in his community, he responded by taking his psychedelic oriented ceremony-concerts online. He gifted a total of five virtual ceremony-concerts and opened them for anyone around the world to attend. From his studio in Boise, ID, he improvised songs in his signature sound; a sound that artfully acts as a digital musical facilitator to guide a psychedelic journey. Out of the five events, he curated a new, two-hour album titled "IN: A Soundtrack For The Psychedelic Practitioner, vol. II." This new work follows the seminal album "Music For Mushrooms: A Soundtrack For The Psychedelic Practitioner." Music is a central element for guiding a psychedelic journey. East Forest has dedicated the last thirteen years to developing his own musical protocol to safely and powerfully accompany a therapeutic psychedelic experience explicitly for Western minds and ears. The "IN" album is designed for inner work, that can be led by a therapist, sitter, guide, or for an open mind and heart that is willing to listen.

The Power of Intention

In this guided meditation you will clear away the noise of your daily life to allow your inner intuitive being to speak. In doing so, you will choose why you are journeying into your inner space and uncover your Intention--an important piece of the "Set" in Set & Setting. You will use this intention as a kernel of meaning and a guiding north star to bring more meaning and direction to the psychedelic journey.

Learning Active Listening

How can you use music as a central guide in a journey, and what does it mean to "actively listen"? In this guided meditation, you will learn how to attune your attention to various elements and layers in music, and to use this mechanism of focus as a doorway to inner wisdom. This technique can become the central rudder to keep the ship of your consciousness sailing straight during the psychedelic experience, particularly when using East Forest music.

Nature Bath

Wilderness is a reflection of our hearts, and the sounds of untouched wild can enliven the fullness of our being. Take a virtual hike to immerse yourself in the sounds of natural landscapes. You will learn how to choose to merge with nature and to use this listening technique while using East Forest music, which integrates field recordings of nature, as a musical guide during a journey.
