Canadian Military Veteran, Master Corporal Scott Atkinson, Submits Request to Minister of Health, Hon. Patty Hajdu, to Access Proven Psilocybin-Assisted Psychotherapy For Non-Palliative Use

Master Corporal Scott Atkinson, a 25-year Canadian militaryveteran, today made an application to Health Canada for an exemption under Section 56 ofThe Controlled Drugs and Substances Act to access psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy to treathis depression and other mental health conditions resultant from his long and distinguishedmilitary career, including active tours in the former Yugoslavia and Afghanistan.
